Halo is a funny and nice game to spend your spare time on, but only the spare time. I won't let it affect my time at school, which it would do if I could only sleep half a night.
As Dwight said, it's a question about priorities. Halo is just a game. I give priority to my real life.

Real Life should always come before Real World for sure. So if you don't want to make an exception that's alright. Keep that up as long as you can.

I'm probably already too much used to late nights etc. Not only the last few months. As soon I got a bit older this just happened often for reasons I don't have to mention here (and no, it wasn't Halo :drunk: ). I wished I had that much discipline.

Since Realworld got a bit more international and since we have all kind of players it makes it impossible to find TEH day.

But I checked the cycle again and the whole session will take around 2-3 hours. If you can just stay until 10 pm UK time (11pm CET) you already played on most of the maps. Each game will only take 10 minutes max. For those who will join later we still can repeat maps and play on them a bit longer afterwards.

So it would be cool if you can make it and stay a bit longer but that's still up to you ofc. :D

This thing goes from 12:45pm to 3:45pm for so I'll probably only be able to play 10 or 15 minutes if any time at at all.

Attendance Voting is very much appreciated. :P
At least it gives us some feedback so hopefully we can try to improve the timing for the majority of players.

Your School, College and Work must come first. No one expects you to feel pressured or obligated to try to do otherwise. If you can afford some time to come and test maps with us, (even if it's only a short time), then that's cool, but if you can't then that's cool too. 8)

Whatever you decide, it's your choice and that choice is not judged or biased against you in any way by others. :holy:

Thanks everyone for participating tonight.

I was really looking forward to it and we planned it all very well. Unfortunately we had no idea that a few of those maps will mess up everything completely and crash the server (which happened twice :( ). We already tried to exclude the maps from the official session which obviously seemed to be too buggy. Sorry for the exception errors you got twice (I know some of you were maybe expecting that  ). Actually a shame to get the server crashing while having 13 players in it but we were not prepared to this at all.

Anyway, it was fun. You can vote on the DMT maps (which don't have any bugs) very soon. But I'm already looking forward to the next Map Testing Session (on TG as well) which definitely won't mess up again!

Cheers
Dwight

A big thanks to all of you Guys for attending. :D

It was a bit hit and miss and got off with a very shaky start and very sorry that so many of you got an exception with so many maps. >:(

When we pre test maps we look for obvious bugs and try to eliminate bad Game Types ~ what we didn't discover was that some maps crashed when they had many players until it was too late. :!:

DMT Racing seemed promising but then was buggy and players couldn't rejoin the server.
DMT Cairo Station similarly looked like fun but produced unacceptable exceptions.
Broken-Indigo caused both another server crash and a nasty exception on my Machine. Maybe I was just unlucky, but it put me off the map enough not to want to play it again.

However the rest of the maps played well and finally it was an awesome event. 8)
