Description: A Man’s Playground.

In this map it is about what goes on in a man's head, one side you have the hill billy style housing and on the other side you have a computer geek house. There is a tree fort in the middle, tombs you can enter, and a few secret teleporters and weapons, and look where you throw your nades or you could do more than killing the enemy.

Thank you to all Players who attended Event Horizon Session #40.

Azera is a Medium Sized Map supporting all Game Types. This Map offers Custom Vehicle and Custom Weapons, of which the Snipers are highly effective. The Custom Vehicles are Stable especially for example the Trucks. Along with Quad Bikes there's even a couple of Jet Packs, plus some Shark Vehicles too. The Motorbike is very well modelled. Gravity is slightly lowered on Azera so Vehicles perform interesting acrobatics.

Azera is suitable for any Number of Players, (from 2 to 16) but achieving Good Game Play definitely depends on the Game Type tailored to the Number of Players. CTF, (and CTF Variants) is basically No Go; it's just to easy to Spawn and Base Rape Enemies with the Custom Snipers. Likewise, Oddball is practically useless too; Snipers can just Kill the Ball Bearer in a matter of Seconds. KOTH isn't any better either. Slayer and Slayer Variants is the most successful Game Type to play. However Race is surprisingly fun albeit a fairly simple route.

Azera does have obvious Technical Issues, (invisible Walls etc.) and blatant Map Errors, but the Session lasted Two Hours+. It's true to say this Map fits in the category of you either Love it or you Hate it, (but overall it was a Good Event) although personally I don't feel in any rush to play Azera again. :xD:

The best part of the map for me was the sniper rifle's, if they were on another map it would be cool.

My opinion is that Azera was a badly thought out map for spawns, vehicles, buildings, terrain, just about everything, oh and gameplay

Still enjoyed it a little
