Thank you to all Players who attended Event Horizon Session #52. It's almost unbelievable this marked 52 Weeks of Different Event Horizon Maps - A complete Years worth of Sessions (Although spread over more than just a single year) Stealth! V2 is a variant of Stealth! by the same Author, (Hobbet360) but having much darker Scenery than the original Custom Map plus various fixes. Note: The original Stealth! is already a Mod of a map called kidd, with added fog and changed lightmaps to make it dark enough to be stealthy! All Game Types are now supported in Stealth! V2 but CTF, KOTH and Slayer Game Types are recommended. In CTF the Flags are Energy Swords, which is a bit weird and in my opinion completely unnecessary. Oddball is also fun, and when there are only a few players even the hardly ever played Elimination Game Type is viable. Just as in the original Map there are no Vehicles, but the Weapons are fun to use, (especially the Spike Nades) which include: Energy Sword Rocket Launcher Bubble Shield Shotgun Fists H2 Sniper Rifle H2 50 Calibre Turrets, (1 at each base) H3 Sniper Rifle H3 Silenced Magnum H3 Spartan Laser (slightly hidden) H3 Spike Grenade This Event saw a Maximum of 10 Players, (averaging ~ 8 ) and given the Map Size this was fine, (but it would have been better having more) but all the same it was a good Session lasting over 2 Hours. Stealth! V2, (dependent on Game Type) is recommended for 2 Players upwards. Personally I quite enjoyed playing Stealth! V2, but that was not the majority opinion because Stealth! V2 is set in almost complete darkness which is never popular with Players. There's a Project to make the Map more playable: viewtopic.php?f=89&t=3764 |
